Issued either as an extension to the Workmen’s Compensation policy, or as a stand-alone policy in conjunction with GLPA policy, the Union Insurance Employers’ Liability insurance indemnifies employers from paying the compensation, legally required under Common Law, for injury or death to personnel during the course of employment.

Extent of cover
  • Expenses incurred during legal procedures, with the prior consent of the company, wherein the employer must defend themselves against wrongful claims and compensation.

  • Coverage of up to AED 1,000,000 for a single occurrence, limited to AED 200,000 per person per accident, including all costs incurred during the period of insurance. Additional Limits can also be opted for, based on the requirement.

  • The indemnity provided is for compensation for damages and costs of litigation.
